There is still hope for the U.S. justice system.

Let me explain: The recent Supreme Court decision upholding Oregon's Death With Dignity Law offers a glimmer of hope.

Unfortunately, the three stooges -- Thomas, Scalia, and the new kid on the block (Bush's protege) Roberts -- tells me that compassion and common sense is not unanimous.

There is still some unfinished business:
First, Jack Kervorkian is slowly dying in a Michigan prison, thanks to the attempted murder by those in the Michigan legal system that put him there. Kervorkian, in my opinion, is way ahead of his time, and should receive a medal, not punishment.

Next: This all started with Bush ordering then Attorney General Ashcroft to use our taxpayers money to overturn the Oregon law. Seems to me we, the taxpayers, should demand that Bush pay the millions it cost in this wasted effort.

Bottom line: Bush's choices of Roberts, and now Alito, is a brazen attempt to have “faith based” (theirs, not mine) play a major role in Supreme Court decisions.

I rest my case!
