"John Ashcroft is wasting our tax dollars during a period of record deficit spending in his ongoing crusade to nullify the Oregon Death with Dignity law. His actions are an assault on terminally ill Oregonians and the democratic process," said Linda Miles, spokesperson for Oregon Death with Dignity who was on-hand for the protest. The Oregon Death with Dignity Center is the legal defense, public policy and education nonprofit representing an Oregon physician and pharmacist before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the ongoing Oregon v. Ashcroft case. Where: Outside the Mark O.
