Learn More About Vermont's Death with Dignity Bill
Posted by Melissa Barber on March 1, 2011

Middlebury Town Hall Theatre
This week, Patient Choices Vermont is holding a series of events to help everyone learn more about Vermont's Death with Dignity bill. If you're in the area, please join Patient Choices Vermont Board Member David Babbott, MD, and George Eighmey at one of these free events.
George and David come together to form a great resource to help you learn more about different aspects of Vermont's Death with Dignity bill. David is a retired professor of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where he taught medical students and residents for over a quarter of a century. Before that, he had a full-time clinical practice.
As an Oregon state legislator in 1997, George defended Oregon's groundbreaking Death with Dignity Act and for the last twelve years has helped terminally ill patients navigate Oregon's law. Between David's knowledge of Vermont's medical community and George's in depth understanding of Oregon's law, no question will go unanswered.

Equivocation is unfortunate here. I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and I have experienced three MI's (4 stents). I'm almost 57 and I can no longer bear the cost of my own existence. This does nothing for me. It should.
Wow, Vermont will be state number 4 if this passes.
let me know an address and to whom to make out the check. From a NJ resident
Good Luck with my total support
