DDNC Cohosts Educational Workshops

The Death with Dignity National Center is hosting educational workshops outside the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area in partnership with Compassion & Choices of Oregon to update physicians and residents on the use of the law in Oregon, the value of the law to terminally ill patients, and to help make the law more accessible to people in these areas.

We will be hosting a workshop on Wednesday, April 14th, in Corvallis, OR in the Walnut Community Room at Fire Station #5. The Fire Station is located at 4950 NW Fair Oaks Drive, just off 53rd Street, near the Martin Luther King Jr. Park. You can register by downloading, printing, and sending in the registration form, or if you have questions, please call us at 503.228.4415 or Click here to contact us by email.

If you live in the area, we hope that you will join us.

Location & Directions:

The Walnut Community Room is located in the Scott Zimbrick Memorial Fire Station #5, at 4950 NW Fair Oaks Drive. (Please note, this address often does not map accurately when searched on-line. We have provided some directions below.) Please note that parking along Fair Oaks Drive is prohibited to allow easy access of fire equipment.

The Fire Station is located on the northwest side of Corvallis. Go west on NW Walnut Boulevard. From NW Walnut Boulevard, look for the yellow fire house caution signs just south of Martin Luther King Jr. Park, at the entrance of NW Fair Oaks Drive; the fire station is the only building on this short, dead-end street. The firehouse/community room is # 44 on this park locations map (PDF).
